44725 spectators arrived at C4 Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Lợi Trần was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Daniel Landmark and Rafael Oñate. ~Ribka~ started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Starters: Kalpiņš - Rapa, Vial, Kulju - Jāņpēters, Korostyshevskiy, Brižs, Langarts, Vilimans - Cherkasov, Ulpe.

The terraces were silenced after 17 minutes when ~Ribka~'s U. Langarts put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. ~Ribka~ increased their lead after 23 minutes when I. Cherkasov broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 2, much to the home crowd's dismay. After 29 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed A. Vilimans to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3. K. Jāņpēters of ~Ribka~ took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 31 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 4. By now, the players in ~Ribka~ felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Halftime score was 0 - 4. Possession in this half belonged to ~Ribka~, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

S. Korostyshevskiy wanted to play on, but the ~Ribka~ coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by B. Budisavljević. The home side worked hard to get through the middle and as a result, had a good chance of getting one back as R. Furuta tried lifting the ball over keeper K. Kalpiņš. Unfortunately, the ball went just over the bar. After the ball was lifted in from the left, I. Cherkasov was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 52 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. I. Cherkasov increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 5. E. Santorum almost reduced the deficit, having drawn the entire left side defence away, but the shot went straight into the arms of the goalkeeper. After 70 minutes of game time, I. Cherkasov had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but S. Cinquini was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by W.C., with 53 percent of the ball.

W.C.'s top performer was clearly R. Neme. V. Fjeld was a disappointment, however. A. Vilimans performed admirably for ~Ribka~. On the other hand, I. Cherkasov's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 5.
