Grabbi went down looking for a penalty after a challenge from the visitors' right fullback, but the referee waved play on, and later warned him for diving. alonso's J. Saura got himself booked for a foul. After 42 minutes alonso's I. López Ruiz contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. J. Cárdenas's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. It was obvious that Team had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. J. Abadal charged down the left and had a wonderful opportunity to score the equaliser for Team, but the shot went well wide of the goal. F. Puig made a superb strike after 44 minutes with a shot straight in front of the goal after a long ball through the middle, but one of the visitors' defenders got a foot in at the last second and warded it off for a corner. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Team claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

After 74 minutes alonso's J. Saura limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. 77 minutes into the game, F. Grabbi came close to levelling the score with a dangerous shot from the centre of the area that went just over the bar. F. Grabbi could have scored for Team with his free kick after 78 minutes, but the visitors' keeper just managed to get a hand on it. With 81 minutes played, alonso's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to J. Saura he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 0 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to Team, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

Team's best player was A. Bollar. However, E. Avellaneda made a disastrous appearance. F. Cía performed admirably for alonso. I. López Ruiz was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
