Homokiviper took the lead 44 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as S. Konderak elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Homokiviper's F. Madureira had an excellent opportunity after 44 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Homokiviper, with 64 percent of the ball.

Although the whole team were struggling to impress, University's D. Tzvetkov was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. S. Koukkari was given a chance to change things around. Homokiviper's C. Allstetter saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 54 minutes. Homokiviper's F. Störmer was shown a yellow card after 75 minutes for slicing down an opponent. After 77 minutes, the defensive line of University created a counterattack through the middle that gave S. Lakatos a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. F. Madureira of Homokiviper received a yellow card after 80 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. After 82 minutes, P. Breitkopf put Homokiviper ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. Homokiviper claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 64 percent.

The most dominating Homokiviper player was without a doubt P. Breitkopf. F. Madureira turned in a dismal performance, however. University's top performer was clearly D. Gaggiola. On the other hand, A. Dibáczy's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 0.
