Due to an all-day shower, 249 paying spectators got to see the game on a field-turned-swamp at Na Capellera. Emil Sterian was the appointed referee. Our studio analysts were correct. Manacor has taken the field in a 3-5-2 alignment. Lineup: Galalón - Vivancos, Astibia, Barreda - Navarrete, Pellico, Darias, Ucedo, Vidal de Llobatera - Parla, Bozhilov.

The head coach flashed hand signals from the sideline and Furonazo formed up in a 3-4-3 combination. Let's hope the opposing sideline wasn't filming that. Starters: Entenza - Roig, Lõvi, Hartos - Ascarza, Fernández Somonte, Carrión, Rovira - Valdemoro, Felgoso, Alkan.

Furonazo displayed their ability to play creatively. Furonazo took the lead 2 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. U. Lõvi was the scorer. A. Valdemoro slipped and slid in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today. The away team's J. Carrión took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 22 minutes increasing Furonazo's lead to 0 - 2. After 38 minutes Manacor's A. Darias contracted a slight foot injury, but said he could still finish the game. Furonazo's K. Alkan received a ball slotted perfectly through the home side's central defense after 39 minutes, and chipped it past the helpless keeper to increase the lead to 0 - 3. The away fans won't regret traveling for this one! The referee showed Furonazo's J. Hartos the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Everyone had expected a shot from the free kick 43 minutes into the game, but Furonazo sent the ball sideways instead, giving E. Ascarza a clear look at goal with no wall in his way. He sent it through the keeper's legs for 0 - 4! At this point, it was obvious that the players of Furonazo lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Furonazo's D. Roig got himself booked. After 44 minutes of game time, D. Roig had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, hitting a cross from the right with a half volley, but A. Galalón was in the right place and tipped the ball to a corner. Halftime score was 0 - 4. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Furonazo, with an impressive 65 percent possession of the ball.

Furonazo's E. Felgoso made it through the home team's defense on the right hand side 51 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded net when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. The Furonazo coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 70 minutes into the game. Manacor's G. Parla was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 70 minutes. 71 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 5 as E. Ascarza finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular bicycle kick. E. Felgoso somehow managed to break free of his man on the left wing and only needed a relatively easy finish to bring Furonazo's lead up to 0 - 6. A. Barreda received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 86 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. The home fans looked somber as they watched their team give up another goal, this one coming from their right as E. Ascarza put one through the keeper's legs. 0 - 7 after 87 minutes. At that, E. Ascarza was noted down for a hattrick! Furonazo set the tempo, maintaining 63 percent of possession.

Most important Manacor player was M. Bozhilov. Speaking of stinking up the place, G. Parla sure smelled like the bottom of Batman's shoe after a night of crimefighting in Gotham. Furonazo's best player was E. Felgoso. Good thing J. Rovira isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance. The match ends 0 - 7.
