L. Mischi charged down the left and had a wonderful opportunity to score the equaliser for Carnova, but the shot went well wide of the goal. With the scoreboard showing that 66 minutes had been played, Volli-Guge nearly put themselves up another goal after P. Bouyer came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. After 68 minutes, C. Montgomery made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 2 - 2. Volli-Guge claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.
