Berti had a good opportunity to give Duff the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. R. Tarufetti of Duff received a yellow card after 6 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. khazane were pushed back, and had many dangerous counterattacks. An impressive one came 22 minutes into the match, but B. Ahmadzadeh narrowly missed the free kick attempt that was awarded as a result of a foul. A well placed corner kick from D. Hirmann was followed by P. De Miranda's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Duff, the score now 0 - 1. The visitors' S. Puré took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 28 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for Duff. When R. Tarufetti made yet another studs-first tackle after 33 minutes, the referee was obliged to book the Duff player for the second time, sending him off the pitch. Unfortunately for khazane, P. Justka was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. F. Mattfeld replaced him. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Duff, with 64 percent of the ball.

The Duff players could smell victory in the air. S. Puré wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for M. Pierantozzi after 46 minutes. J. Giudice increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 3. The coach of Duff was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 70 minutes, U. Ortiz came on for R. Rojo. After 72 minutes, khazane raised their score by one when B. Ahmadzadeh's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by J. Räty. 1 - 3. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Duff coach let V. Kotrulev replace M. Obeid after 75 minutes. After 78 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave M. Pierantozzi a chance to increase the lead for Duff, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 4. Confident in their lead, Duff's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Duff claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 67 percent.

khazane's best player was B. Drastík. F. Mattfeld on the other hand, had a terrible day. M. Pierantozzi performed admirably for Duff. F. Piñero turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 4.
