previous 6/10 next 8/10  sgstalents 4 - 1 Kenttis (377929900)

Clouds darkened the skies at sgstalents Stadion as 408 spectators turned up for the match. Si Fong Min was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Alejandro Arista and Milán Havasi. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for sgstalents. The following players took the field: Raunio - Kuvaja, Viguri, Ala-Äijälä - Pirrone, Rönn, Gasteiger, Ruuska, Serwach - Hellanmaa, Önaydın.

Kenttis started off with a 4-2-3 lineup. Starters: Rehakka - Nissinen, Himmanen, Viljaharju, Äijö - Polttila, Moisand - Hakala, Vähäsarja, Rewell.

After 9 minutes, M. Ruuska came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving sgstalents the lead. sgstalents increased the lead as S. Rönn struck to make the score 2 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. M. Serwach could have increased the lead after 41 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, V. Hellanmaa got himself booked. The manager of sgstalents was not happy. 43 minutes into the game, Kenttis seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a weak level of organisation. With 43 minutes played, A. Pirrone could have brought this one home for sgstalents as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. After 44 minutes, a well-worked counterattack by Kenttis on the right presented an easy opportunity in front of the goal that was duly converted by H. Viljaharju to make it 2 - 1. It was 2 - 1 at the break. sgstalents claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 73 percent.

A review of the gameplan helped Kenttis get back to a passable organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. Kenttis had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 48 minutes, but P. Hakala's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. 49 minutes in, Kenttis appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only weak. 61 minutes into the game, sgstalents were awarded a penalty that S. Rönn turned into 3 - 1 without a problem. After 67 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and V. Hellanmaa gave the sgstalents supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 1. Confident in their lead, sgstalents's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. sgstalents had most of the ball, with 80 percent of possession.

sgstalents's best player was S. Rönn. However, F. Viguri made a disastrous appearance. Most important Kenttis player was M. Vähäsarja. J. Rehakka was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
