Confident in their lead, Viçosense's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. As usual, V. Jānītis tried to use his strength and hard work for the benefit of the team, but the heat hit him hard and he couldn't keep pace at all. Viçosense had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

The most dominating Guimarães player was without a doubt S. Boykov. M. Bertolini on the other hand, had a terrible day. Viçosense's best player was H. Miúdo. M. Sall was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
