The crowd of 2017 turning up at VLADISLAV Arena today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Emil Koterba was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Nini Panaitescu and Werni Huggler. A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for VLADISLAV73. The following players had been chosen: Beckmann - Trendafilov, Sheykov, Yordanov - Idrotidis, Bahchevanov, Stoichkov, Denin - Grozev, Chilò Trosman, Pijet.

Deunidó decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. They fielded: Nebril - Truyers, Farreras, Muntaña - Palacín, Styles, Raffaelli, Pavón, Iñarra - Pampanin, Campabadal.

The rain made it hard for players like A. Denin to show their technical control of the ball on this soggy day. With 11 minutes played, K. Pijet of VLADISLAV73 fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. With 13 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as M. Chilò Trosman flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. M. Chilò Trosman could have increased the lead after 22 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. V. Iñarra of Deunidó seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by B. Muntaña. 26 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for VLADISLAV73 to take the lead after a good cross from the right found K. Pijet alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. After 28 minutes, Deunidó's F. Pampanin made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 1 - 2. Halftime score was 1 - 2. Deunidó claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

67 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 3 as G. Raffaelli finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. After this, you could see that the players of Deunidó were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. V. Iñarra of Deunidó received a yellow card after 73 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. With the scoreboard showing that 74 minutes had been played, Deunidó nearly put themselves up another goal after B. Muntaña came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. After 78 minutes Deunidó's T. Campabadal contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. Given a free kick close to the byline, Deunidó tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let F. Pampanin slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 1 - 4, 79 minutes into the game. Deunidó's B. Muntaña was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 80 minutes. V. Totzev was called on to replace VLADISLAV73's V. Trendafilov after 82 minutes following a nasty collision. The visitors' C. Palacín took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 83 minutes into the match. 1 - 5 for Deunidó. K. Pijet spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch. After 85 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for T. Campabadal who increased Deunidó's lead to 1 - 6. The referee showed Deunidó's F. Farreras the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Deunidó, with 59 percent of the ball.

M. Chilò Trosman performed admirably for VLADISLAV73. However, A. Denin made a disastrous appearance. Deunidó's top performer was clearly F. Pampanin. C. Nebril was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 6.
