Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 2484 at Monumental Bruxos Arena today. Szymon Kupka was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Krešimir Barčić and Miguel Rego. F.B.C.E. started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. Lineup: Langnau - Glashoff, Juventino, Pasteka, Pituba - Hofmeijer, Calçada, Vassura, Antonatos, Tasala - Gagat.

A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Lacrymosa. They fielded: Larsson - Palm, Kinberg, Roschmann, Noisette - Naffzinger, Gomez, Eisenhut, Gente - Minniti, Burkard.

F.B.C.E. mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. F.B.C.E. fans held their breath as O. Tasala scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! Central attacks were the recipe of the day for F.B.C.E., as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. F.B.C.E.'s P. Calçada saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 5 minutes. G. Hofmeijer could have increased the lead after 16 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. With 18 minutes played, E. Juventino could have brought this one home for F.B.C.E. as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Halftime score was 1 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by F.B.C.E., with 78 percent of the ball.

A. Vassura had a fantastic opportunity to put F.B.C.E. up another goal 48 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. An accurate cross from A. Gente of Lacrymosa was met with a wonderful glancing header from R. Burkard, hitting the inside base of the post before nestling into the back of the net for 1 - 1. F.B.C.E. had a chance to take the lead after P. Pituba's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 57 minutes. Lacrymosa had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 58 minutes, but R. Burkard's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. With 64 minutes played, P. Pituba of F.B.C.E. fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The referee signaled a penalty for the home side after 73 minutes, amid vocal protests from the visitors. F.B.C.E. fans erupted in celebration as S. Antonatos rifled the ball into the the top corner. 2 - 1! S. Antonatos increased F.B.C.E.'s lead to 3 - 1 with a penalty spot cannonball. Lacrymosa's D. Palm had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 77 minutes having been played. P. Bischof was the replacement. F.B.C.E.'s S. Antonatos had an excellent opportunity after 79 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! F.B.C.E.'s C. Pasteka was shown a yellow card after 81 minutes for slicing down an opponent. B. Larsson was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Lacrymosa's G. Sitler had to come off the bench. F.B.C.E. claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 78 percent.

The most dominating F.B.C.E. player was without a doubt A. Vassura. E. Juventino on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Lacrymosa player was F. Minniti. On the other hand, P. Bischof's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 1.
