The crowd of 912 turning up at Stade Municipal today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Eugene Walker was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Alan Kaasik and Sylvain Vigneau. Vallaniac had chosen a strategic 5-2-3 formation. Team started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: Weikmann - Kreisinger, Pečínka, Fotr - Pavelec, Melka, Kašťák, Somerkivi, Kis - Valta, Bálint.

Vallaniac displayed their ability to play creatively. Vallaniac broke through on the left 21 minutes into the game, with P. Barbereau firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. Vallaniac managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when L. Charrier cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. P. Barbereau behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 37 minutes as he gave the ball away to B. Bálint. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Vallaniac's J. Bardet increasing the lead to 3 - 0. After this, you could see that the players of Vallaniac were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 41 minutes in, Vallaniac appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like K. Pavelec. 44 minutes into the game, Vallaniac seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. Halftime score was 3 - 0. Vallaniac had most of the ball, with 75 percent of possession.

During the break, Vallaniac's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. H. Pelkkikangas unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. Team's L. Fotr was shown a yellow card after 72 minutes for slicing down an opponent. After 73 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Vallaniac found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. L. Charrier should probably have put his team up another goal after 76 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by K. Weikmann kept the visitors in the game. P. Blaha was called on to replace Team's L. Fotr after 78 minutes following a nasty collision. É. Correia slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today. Vallaniac's R. Pirlot struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 4 - 0 after 83 minutes. Vallaniac put themselves up 5 - 0 when N. Antunes broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Vallaniac claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 77 percent.

Vallaniac's top performer was clearly I. Beaudoux. É. Correia turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Team player was V. Melka. However, A. Somerkivi made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 5 - 0.
