Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 55585 to
Ryouzanpaku.
Flavinho Mussi was the appointed referee.
Yeehaa!! started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players took the field: Le Falher - Baranov, Jespersen, Basoa - Borysewicz, Cabiativa, Silvestroni, Vázquez, Consorti - Kijak, Vinterberg.
team~insanity tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination.
Lineup: Verellen - Despierre, Calante, Kirsilä - Tarquini, Kırdar, Treier, Delporte - Pera, D'Ambrosio, Gallitz.
Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of team~insanity.
Making his way up the middle 10 minutes into the match,
A. Vinterberg almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert
P. Verellen blocked it to keep the score level.
After 12 minutes Yeehaa!!'s
J. Vázquez limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
They were singing the praises of
A. Vinterberg 13 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Yeehaa!!.
Yeehaa!!'s
R. Kijak was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 14 minutes.
The Yeehaa!! free kick 29 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of
S. Baranov, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 2 - 0!
Cheers filled the stadium as
A. Consorti broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Yeehaa!!.
By now, the players in Yeehaa!! felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
Yeehaa!!'s
A. Vinterberg excelled in some fine tricks that completely confused
O. Kırdar - and the finish was no less spectacular - 4 - 0!
Boom! What a strike by Yeehaa!!'s
S. Jespersen! Firing in from 35 yards after 33 minutes, that is probably one of the best goals he's ever scored! 5 - 0.
5 - 0 was the halftime score.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Yeehaa!!, with 59 percent of the ball.
E. Silvestroni could have put Yeehaa!! up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 52 minutes.
M. Delporte sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from
V. Treier after 59 minutes of play, making the score 5 - 1.
team~insanity were desperate to get a goal back and pushed forward through the middle 72 minutes into the game. After a scramble in the box, the ball dropped to
T. Kirsilä, who smashed it home to make the score 5 - 2.
The goal to make it 5 - 3 was scored by
G. Tarquini after 76 minutes, following an opportunistic counterattack down the middle by team~insanity.
team~insanity showed their counterattack skill 78 minutes into the match by breaking through the middle, with
H. Gallitz scoring uncontested for 5 - 4.
Yeehaa!! enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.
The most dominating Yeehaa!! player was without a doubt
A. Vinterberg.
However,
S. Jespersen made a disastrous appearance.
team~insanity's best player was
F. D'Ambrosio.
On the other hand,
J. Calante's play was disheartening.
The match ends 5 - 4.
