A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Ostergau's S. Pires increasing the lead to 5 - 2. By now, the players in Ostergau felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. It was a bad day for the usually speedy J. Vinaixa. The mud seemed to slow him down. Ostergau's R. Eckert increased the lead to 6 - 2, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 71 minutes. With 72 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Frenk showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 6 - 3 when C. Galip got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. 74 minutes in, Ostergau's G. Sotiriou received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
