The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Bălănescu from Rumeon a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 30 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Rumeon had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. 1 - 2 was the score with 35 minutes played, after G. Donici cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Rumeon. Rumeon's Y. Demchuk was shown a yellow card after 36 minutes for slicing down an opponent. After 37 minutes of play, P. Fassiolo equalised for Globo after an elegant attack from the right. Rumeon were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. After 39 minutes, Rumeon's P. Carlsson made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 2 - 3. 2 - 3 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Rumeon, with 57 percent of the ball.

The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed Globo's coach gave V. Landriscina the opportunity the player had been hoping for. G. Bozoglian reluctantly left the field. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Globo's O. Sánchez was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. L. Menéndez was given a chance to change things around. Globo needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes J. Varini made way for A. Guzmán. Due to some great work on the right wing Globo's J. Domínguez was able to even the score after 86 minutes to make the score 3 - 3. Globo took the lead after 87 minutes as a result of V. Landriscina's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 4 - 3. Globo's W. Almodóvar increased the lead to 5 - 3, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 87 minutes. 88 minutes in, D. Racu made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but M. Pierrard refused to let the ball slip by him. Possession in this half belonged to Globo, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

The most dominating Globo player was without a doubt L. Menéndez. On the other hand, W. Almodóvar's play was disheartening. Rumeon's top performer was clearly A. Llobera. M. Măriuca was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 3.
