However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Budapest's I. Udvarias was shown a yellow card after 39 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Budapest had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Budapest had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 64 minutes, but A. Balog's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. L. Balázs behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 65 minutes as he gave the ball away to R. Jensen. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. Budapest put pressure on the visitors' central defence 76 minutes into the game, but S. Francko couldn't find an opening. Budapest's Z. Gajdos put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 1 - 1 with 80 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. Budapest claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

L. Grofcsik performed admirably for Budapest. B. Teleki on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating kviksand player was without a doubt R. Jensen. However, F. Zinßer made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 1.
