Buzzicons clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. Today, canchita's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. The referee showed canchita's P. Cabión the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Buzzicons's E. Kestilä went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. Slack defending gave Buzzicons a chance to take the lead with 11 minutes played, but S. Taco's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, S. Taco got himself booked. The manager of Buzzicons was not happy. Buzzicons's S. Taco proved that he's been around on a football pitch before, when he took advantage of a few moments of confusion in the opposition's defensive line and elegantly scored for 1 - 0. Buzzicons put in a good effort on the right, but H. Dreverhaven saw his volley fly wide of the mark 28 minutes into the game. S. Taco was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Buzzicons's V. Migotti managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 2 - 0 2 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Buzzicons, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

With 49 minutes played, B. Mareš could have brought this one home for Buzzicons as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. The crowd roared its approval when H. Figo somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by canchita's G. González Daher 58 minutes into the game. 60 minutes in, Buzzicons's M. Camezzana received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. canchita's P. Cabión refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 74 minutes. The Buzzicons players could smell victory in the air. S. Taco wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for G. Marchetta after 75 minutes. 79 minutes into the match, canchita replied and reduced the lead to 2 - 1. C. Seals scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. The home side's E. Kestilä came close to extending the lead 81 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but D. Benegas managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Buzzicons enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

G. De Rogatis performed admirably for Buzzicons. V. Migotti was a disappointment, however. The most dominating canchita player was without a doubt C. Hooyberghs. P. Cabión turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
