(378346320)

19-04-2012 01.30
The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 62000 had shown up at
El Limonero for the match.
Jukka Pöllänen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Rüdiger Kretschmayer and
Dimitri Hogerwerf.
Deportivo tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
They fielded: Gilling - Boscolo, Pabbo, Zebrzydło - Rezník, Bolduan, Costet, Alcaraz, Cardoso - Pruijssers, Vavassori.
SINA started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players took the field: Galili - Nisa, Barbagelata, Kitikov - Menetti, Guglienmipietro, Varela, Bruun, Manga - Grimaldi, Arbel.
After 6 minutes,
M. Pruijssers came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Deportivo the lead.
The visitors'
L. Bruun was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 1 - 1 after 25 minutes.
Making his way up the middle 29 minutes into the match,
R. Costet almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert
R. Galili blocked it to keep the score level.
G. Varela of SINA was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
36 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Deportivo to take the lead after a good cross from the right found
L. Alcaraz alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post.
The visiting
G. Menetti was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 38 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 1 - 2 was the score.
After 41 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
L. Bruun who increased SINA's lead to 1 - 3.
42 minutes into the game, SINA worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch.
1 - 3 was the halftime score.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by SINA, with 51 percent of the ball.
J. Cardoso almost reduced the deficit, having drawn the entire left side defence away, but the shot went straight into the arms of the goalkeeper.
R. Pabbo challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 54 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it.
After 59 minutes,
R. Manga sent the corner kick right to
M. Nisa who headed it sharply past the keeper. 1 - 4!
After this, you could see that the players of SINA were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
The coach of SINA was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 70 minutes,
D. Gicquiaud came on for
V. Barbagelata.
A misunderstanding between the visitors' keeper
R. Galili and his left defence could have resulted in a goal for Deportivo, but
L. Alcaraz's finish was way too lame.
R. Galili left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 89 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
L. Carhuamaca was the replacement.
O. Arbel became the new SINA captain.
Deportivo had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.
The most dominating Deportivo player was without a doubt
F. Bolduan.
R. Pabbo turned in a dismal performance, however.
SINA's best player was
O. Arbel.
However,
L. Carhuamaca made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 1 - 4.
