The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 2993 had shown up at Mestalla Arena for the match. Joseph Veltl was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Marcelo Cabral and Ariel Bitel. SiUo seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. Postapokalyptiker showed off their creative tactics. A. Dendategi gave SiUo the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 SiUo had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. M. Soós could have increased the lead after 19 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. H. Schlereth finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 1 - 1 20 minutes into the match. Making his way up the middle 22 minutes into the match, J. Moital almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert U. Heppenheimer blocked it to keep the score level. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, H. Feixó scored for SiUo putting them ahead 2 - 1, after 27 minutes. After 34 minutes SiUo's I. Frasquet limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. It was 2 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to SiUo, who controlled the ball 69 percent of the time.

The coach of SiUo was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, E. Portugal came on for I. Frasquet. SiUo's R. Sosa struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 3 - 1 after 48 minutes. Confident in their lead, SiUo's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. In a rapid move 57 minutes into the match, M. Mayschoß of Postapokalyptiker lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked R. Bombelka who easily hit it home to make it 3 - 2. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! The visitors didn't give in and, after 58 minutes, M. Mayschoß got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 3 - 3. 59 minutes in, the referee awarded SiUo a penalty. R. Sosa coolly slotted it home for a 4 - 3 lead. SiUo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 73 percent of possession.

SiUo's best player was M. Plantalech. On the other hand, F. Martínez Rueda's play was disheartening. Postapokalyptiker's top performer was clearly M. Mayschoß. H. Schlereth turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 3.
