(378517256)

17-04-2012 19.15
Clouds darkened the skies at
Angel Arena as 605 spectators turned up for the match.
Arnaud Irle was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Valter Alecrim and
Konstantinos Goutis.
DIAVOLI decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
The following players had been chosen: Wern - Vešligaj, Zamkowski, Vasilev, Levälampi - Bielke, Nazaré, Miščević, Paredes - Sycz, Purokuru.
Holandia tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
Starters: Ortega Molina - Zbrzyzny, Morup-Jensen, Major - Zbroiński, Kiliszek, Roig, Erdozaín, Havlát - 永军 (Yongjun), Molkenbur.
Holandia were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks.
The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Holandia's
Z. Zbrzyzny after 38 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead.
A drive down the left side allowed
C. Molkenbur to get in close and score another goal for Holandia after 39 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 2.
Some fine movement on the left led to a Holandia goal after 41 minutes, making it 0 - 3.
S. Major was noted down as the scorer.
After 43 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
C. Molkenbur to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4.
0 - 4 was the score after the first half.
Holandia enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.
After 46 minutes, DIAVOLI switched
V. Purokuru with
P. Panaseth, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch.
Z. Zbrzyzny received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 52 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The Holandia fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early.
The players of Holandia now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
The home team's supporters got excited again when
V. Sycz broke through the visitors' central defence and caught their keeper off guard, making it 1 - 5.
The bench was restless, and with 60 minutes passed DIAVOLI's coach gave
P. Coste the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
G. Vešligaj reluctantly left the field.
With 70 minutes played, the DIAVOLI coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
S. Menguy came on,
N. Levälampi had to leave the fray.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the Holandia coach let
A. Acurio replace
A. Zbroiński after 70 minutes.
Against a lesser team, Holandia could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 76 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save.
The coach of Holandia was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 80 minutes,
F. Brzęczek came on for
曾. 永军 (Yongjun).
Holandia had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.
DIAVOLI's top performer was clearly
V. Sycz.
L. Wern was a disappointment, however.
Most important Holandia player was
M. Roig.
On the other hand,
M. Ortega Molina's play was disheartening.
The match ends 1 - 5.
