Going for long shots seemed to be the strategy in use by Artilleros. Today, Corazon's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. The guests took the lead 9 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in G. Rovati scoring to make it 0 - 1. With 17 minutes played, M. Cuadro Gutiérrez nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. After 19 minutes of play, R. Fazekas evened things up for Artilleros with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 1 - 1. Corazon had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. S. Romero had a good opportunity to give Corazon the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when G. Rovati slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against A. Etxebarrioste, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. Corazon's J. Ziediņš was shown a yellow card after 38 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Corazon enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

J. Ziediņš of Corazon got sent off for kicking the ball after the whistle, a completely uncalled for move, earning him his second yellow card of the game. Corazon's O. Bittner managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 74 minutes. 1 - 2. 78 minutes into the match, M. Carranza came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. M. Cuadro Gutiérrez of Corazon was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. An amazing free kick flew past the home keeper 84 minutes into the match, putting Corazon ahead 1 - 3. W. Capela was the scorer. After 86 minutes Artilleros showed some great patience outside the penalty area, waiting until G. Moesch could find the right opportunity to finish off the attack from distance. The long shot, however, was an easy catch for G. Dima. B. Grześkowiec of Artilleros received a yellow card after 87 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Corazon had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

The most dominating Artilleros player was without a doubt F. Allermöhe. On the other hand, 張. 嘉利 (Jiali)'s play was disheartening. G. Rovati performed admirably for Corazon. G. Dima was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
