Ardama broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. xamanes's W. Godee was shown a yellow card after 28 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Juve managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when S. Bonino cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Juve lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. xamanes's A. Gallaga got himself booked for a foul. With 34 minutes played, J. Van Schowen had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Juve to 4 - 0 as D. Mustafa finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Halftime score was 4 - 0. Juve enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

The home side's D. Ardama came close to extending the lead 51 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but J. Hanot managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. 73 minutes in, W. Godee made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but H. Urquieta refused to let the ball slip by him. After 77 minutes, P. Stawniak sent the corner kick right to J. Van Schowen who headed it sharply past the keeper. 4 - 1! Juve had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Juve's top performer was clearly H. Halisch. On the other hand, L. Trerotoli's play was disheartening. W. Godee performed admirably for xamanes. P. Stawniak was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
