After 33 minutes, Ravèns's S. Baldi burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 3. Confident in their lead, Ravèns's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Ravèns's G. Gobbetti got himself booked for a foul. L. Mones hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving COW's R. Fabella an easy chance to knock it in for 1 - 3. The home crowd was not impressed when M. Ćavar came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 39 minutes. Ravèns were now up 1 - 4. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, V. Estavillo got himself booked. The manager of COW was not happy. 1 - 4 was the halftime score. Ravèns claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.

With 52 minutes played, D. De Santis nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. The home crowd cheered when, after 65 minutes, L. Alfarano's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, COW's E. Regalado was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 75 minutes. V. Džiaugis was given a chance to change things around. The cannonball from 35 metres by A. Constantinescu of Ravèns was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. A. Constantinescu came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over T. Potengi but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Ravèns's D. De Santis made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 86 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. A counterattack by COW after 87 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but M. Honor, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Ravèns, with 70 percent of the ball.

The most dominating COW player was without a doubt V. Džiaugis. However, R. Fabella made a disastrous appearance. L. Alfarano performed admirably for Ravèns. G. Gobbetti was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 4.
