The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 2548 had shown up at
Anjo Arena for the match.
Wouter-Jan Beringer was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Bjørn Enevold and
Peter Hofmann.
johnboys1 started off with a 3-4-2 lineup.
They fielded: Spierenburg - Mulhoff, Stańczuk, Dirven - Mickle, Lagerlius, Oskarsson, Orelha - de Poel, Iezzo.
Saveejie tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination.
The following players took the field: Eckardstein - Catellini, Escoto, Taukacs - Dahmani, Cielemęcki, Teegen, Audiņš - Reetwarder, Khimchenko, Kupnik.
After 19 minutes, Saveejie put themselves up 0 - 1, as
A. Escoto finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot.
No matter how hard he tried,
B. Mickle just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 23 minutes.
After 24 minutes, a well-worked counterattack by Saveejie on the right presented an easy opportunity in front of the goal that was duly converted by
P. Reetwarder to make it 0 - 2.
The players of Saveejie now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.

Saveejie had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.
During the break, johnboys1's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to
solid organisation.
johnboys1 needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 60 minutes
P. Lagerlius made way for
Q. Schöpfer.
The bench was restless, and with 67 minutes passed johnboys1's coach gave
M. Juan Caballero the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
R. Orelha reluctantly left the field.
After 69 minutes, johnboys1 switched
B. Mickle with
O. Beunderman, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch.
72 minutes into the game, johnboys1 seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
weak.
With 77 minutes played,
R. Kupnik nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar.
Q. Schöpfer behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 83 minutes as he gave the ball away to
J. Teegen. Lucky for him though, there was no goal.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Saveejie, with 61 percent of the ball.
F. Iezzo performed admirably for johnboys1.
Q. Schöpfer on the other hand, had a terrible day.
