MasCara seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. R. Horovský's experience almost gave FCM a goal after 2 minutes but the keeper made a great save. After 6 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as MasCara found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to poor. MasCara's A. Zetterér was shown a yellow card after 11 minutes for slicing down an opponent. FCM took the lead 16 minutes in, as L. Louro broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in FCM's P. Saavedra increasing the lead to 2 - 0. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of FCM to 3 - 0 as R. Horovský finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to FCM, who controlled the ball 85 percent of the time.

During the break, MasCara's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to passable organisation. After 60 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and L. Louro gave the FCM supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0. By now, the players in FCM felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, MasCara's M. De Checchi was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 65 minutes. R. Mijares was given a chance to change things around. 67 minutes into the game, MasCara seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to poor. FCM increased the lead as P. Saavedra struck to make the score 5 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. With 79 minutes played, FCM's E. Ogrodnik almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. A. Ábel could have increased the lead after 87 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. 88 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as P. Saavedra broke through, making the score 6 - 0 for FCM. That made three goals for P. Saavedra and he was marked down for the hat trick. 89 minutes in, MasCara appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only poor. FCM had most of the ball, with 86 percent of possession.

FCM's top performer was clearly A. Ábel. L. Louro turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important MasCara player was G. Arma. G. Grossi on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 0.
