1962 spectators arrived at Coliseo Angel Labruna, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Yan Lanz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Valter Sampaio and Arthur Tourneux. Voladoras had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Troco saw most attack opportunities on the wings. The celebrations in the stands could only mean one thing - R. Ślanda's free kick had found the back of the net and put Voladoras ahead 1 - 0! The referee showed Voladoras's L. Kremer the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. In a fantastic display of determination, Troco's P. Jatiúca forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. Voladoras were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 11 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by R. Ślanda. 2 - 0 for the home side. The home side's L. Kremer came close to extending the lead 18 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but G. Leyton managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. J. Urguía could have increased the lead after 19 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Voladoras's L. Radwański increased the lead to 3 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 21 minutes. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Voladoras, with 80 percent of the ball.

Coming from the right, A. Eguiguren almost managed to score another goal for Voladoras, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. Voladoras's R. Ślanda swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. After 65 minutes Voladoras's M. Alışık limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. After 66 minutes, D. Cienfuegos put Voladoras ahead 4 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. The players of Voladoras now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 72 minutes into the match R. Ślanda put Voladoras ahead 5 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. At that, R. Ślanda was noted down for a hat trick! Voladoras had most of the ball, with 82 percent of possession.

M. Alışık performed admirably for Voladoras. J. Fernández turned in a dismal performance, however. Troco's top performer was clearly T. Rossen. On the other hand, B. Maia Costa's play was disheartening. The match ends 5 - 0.
