Content with how the game was proceeding, the PRSBH coach let J. Mualim replace F. Kaunang after 55 minutes. The PRSBH captaincy was handed to A. Fingkrew. A wonderful trick by D. Notonegoro that left M. Eider bewildered really deserved to end in a goal but the keeper made a fine save. F. Coutinho of Paderborn was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. After 79 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after F. Coutinho made it through the middle and struck home to make it 1 - 1. PRSBH created a good opportunity to score 83 minutes into the match when A. Fingkrew's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. 1 - 2 was the score with 84 minutes played, after A. Ferchhumer cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Paderborn. With the scoreboard showing that 85 minutes had been played, Paderborn nearly put themselves up another goal after S. Kegel came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. Possession in this half belonged to Paderborn, who controlled the ball 62 percent of the time.
