Kramer who increased Pieros's lead to 0 - 2. Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the Frattaglia manager used a brief break in play after 36 minutes to give the players new directives. E. The home crowd was not impressed when L. Vodenski came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 48 minutes. Pieros were now up 0 - 4. An indecisive keeper looked on as a free kick by Pieros's N. Voinea put the visitors up 0 - 5 after 56 minutes. After 58 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave K. Jürgensen a chance to increase the lead for Pieros, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 6. By now, the players in Pieros felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. After 76 minutes, Pieros's L. Vodenski burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 7. After 82 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed L. Vodenski to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 8. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for L. Vodenski. Frattaglia refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, H. Tscharnuter managed to slip the ball home for 1 - 8. 86 minutes in, Frattaglia's H. Tscharnuter received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Possession in this half belonged to Pieros, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

P. Cassano performed admirably for Frattaglia. T. Vogels turned in a dismal performance, however. Pieros's best player was W. Kościecha. However, M. Ribers Nielsen made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 8.
