The 1630 spectators at FC Hundu Arena were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Uladzislau Mamida was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Artur Fuster and Erik Mölderkivi. A 5-2-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Hundu. Starters: Uba - Kõiv, Niidu, Klausen, Zagaynov, Vunder - Mihklisaar, Kuusk - Desllor, Noorhani, Toots.

Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Rovers. It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why E. Vunder found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. J. Wik Kalkan had a good try after 25 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide. Some great play up the middle by Hundu led to a chance for L. Kõiv to score after 26 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. P. Höbart stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving Rovers the goal to make it 0 - 1. A handball in the penalty area gave the home team a penalty 28 minutes into the match, and M. Desllor was able to score, taking the scoreline to 1 - 1. After a fine move down the middle M. Desllor nearly gave the home side a goal after 34 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. A questionable penalty 36 minutes in gave the home side the lead, 2 - 1. The visitors' goalie didn't stand a chance as M. Desllor knocked the ball home. Hundu solidified their lead at the 41 minute mark, as U. Toots dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 1. Halftime score was 3 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to Hundu, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.

Having turned the direction of play quickly, the Rovers counter attack ended as the ball carrier was brought down violently by a defender after 67 minutes. The resulting free kick was a flat shot into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and did not allow the opponents to reach the ball. The referee showed Rovers's C. Zuccarello the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Hundu's E. Vunder went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. U. Toots squirmed through their central defence after 81 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 1. By now, the players in Hundu felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. With 85 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Rovers resulted in a counterattack that set L. Rahmlow free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. With 88 minutes played, J. Wik Kalkan of Rovers fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Hundu's M. Desllor struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 5 - 1 after 88 minutes. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for M. Desllor. Usually a powerful player on the field, H. Jung looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun. Hundu claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.

Hundu's best player was M. Desllor. However, K. Uba made a disastrous appearance. J. Sommer performed admirably for Rovers. On the other hand, R. Schreiber-Sachweh's play was disheartening. The match ends 5 - 1.
