Périot scored for Scimmia_plx putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 27 minutes. It might be a while before the fans see Diamantul's M. Špiler again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 38 minute mark. He was replaced by N. Ganea. With 41 minutes played, Scimmia_plx's J. Périot almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. M. Papandrea was called on to replace Scimmia_plx's T. Ghezzi after 42 minutes following a nasty collision. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave E. Heeke from Diamantul a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 43 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! In a fantastic display of determination, Scimmia_plx's C. Fairholme forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. J. Linbom could have increased the lead after 44 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. After 44 minutes, the defensive line of Diamantul created a counterattack through the middle that gave E. Heeke a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Scimmia_plx enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Some things can only be learned through experience, and J. Linbom should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting Diamantul a goal with 47 minutes of the match played. Scimmia_plx had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. L. Piskonen unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Scimmia_plx to 2 - 0 as K. Blommaart finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. After 62 minutes, Diamantul's R. Johanneskirche fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! Diamantul needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 67 minutes U. Matičić made way for C. Amarandei. After 70 minutes, J. Périot put Scimmia_plx ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. After 71 minutes, Diamantul switched T. Magosi with L. Cumpănaşu, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. The corner kick from C. Fairholme was powerfully met by the head of A. Brugière to make the score 4 - 0. By now, the players in Scimmia_plx felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Possession in this half belonged to Scimmia_plx, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

Scimmia_plx's top performer was clearly L. Piskonen. A. Brugière on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Diamantul player was A. Twomey. L. Cumpănaşu was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
