It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 896 that came out to LPG Arena. Rafinha Guarabira was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Raffael Deveney and Oskar Gjermandsen. Runkebo were relying on their ability to counter-attack. It was an obvious ambition of Torpeder to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. They were singing the praises of G. Pérez 13 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Runkebo. Players in Torpeder heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. An equalising goal seemed certain after 16 minutes when M. Westerhult attacked down the left wing, but C. Granata just managed to make a save to keep the ball out of the net. Halftime score was 1 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Torpeder, with 55 percent of the ball.

R. Abutbul's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. R. Abutbul finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 1 - 1 65 minutes into the match. With 80 minutes played, T. Bengtsson of Runkebo fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. 81 minutes into the game, R. Abutbul had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came B. Todesco. After 83 minutes, Torpeder put themselves up 1 - 2, as M. Westerhult finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. V. Cerulli increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 1 - 3. The players of Torpeder now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, J. Wiklius got himself booked. The manager of Torpeder was not happy. Torpeder came close to extending their lead as J. Beek delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 88 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. B. Todesco wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. C. Granata got a fingertip on J. Beek's shot from the left 89 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. The referee showed Torpeder's B. Todesco the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Unfortunately for Runkebo, T. Bengtsson was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. H. Santman replaced him. Torpeder enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

G. Pérez performed admirably for Runkebo. R. Westerwelle on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Torpeder player was M. Westerhult. However, E. Hyypiö made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 3.
