Clear skies welcomed the 3224 spectators who had made their way to MONUMENTAL FALLAS F.C. CAMP. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for FALLAS. Bars99 mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. P. Predescu caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 23 minutes. This gave FALLAS the 1 - 0 lead. Bars99's G. Pignataro got himself booked for a foul. FALLAS's N. Elshof had an excellent opportunity after 38 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! It was 1 - 0 at the break. FALLAS had most of the ball, with 76 percent of possession.

The FALLAS coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 46 minutes into the game. Content with how the game was proceeding, the FALLAS coach let O. Scaranari replace J. Lombera after 46 minutes. The FALLAS players could smell victory in the air. E. Segura wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for A. Jobczyk after 46 minutes. The visitors' M. Çalkan was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 1 - 1 after 54 minutes. González left his markers for dead and should have resulted in a goal, but the finish went just wide. FALLAS's P. Predescu was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 81 minutes. FALLAS's E. Alfaro swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. FALLAS claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 81 percent.

FALLAS's best player was D. Obregón. However, A. Jobczyk made a disastrous appearance. F. Gasparini performed admirably for Bars99. V. Fañanas was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
