Barmbek, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. After a fine move down the middle A. Dahlland nearly gave the home side a goal after 11 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. trnovanská's A. Dahlland got himself booked for a foul. Unfortunately for FCTREB, P. Moulík was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. S. Hrnčíř replaced him. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, G. Jepsen scored for trnovanská putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 32 minutes. A. Šodek finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 1 - 1 33 minutes into the match. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. trnovanská had most of the ball, with 65 percent of possession.

T. Barmbek delivered a good free kick from an excellent position 48 minutes into the game, but luck wasn't on FCTREB's side this time and the ball went wide. A. Ludwig had a hard time on the waterlogged pitch - his trademark technique was nowhere in sight today. trnovanská players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. With 64 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of FCTREB resulted in a counterattack that set J. Hučík free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave H. Guasch from trnovanská a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 67 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! trnovanská were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. Some great play up the middle by trnovanská led to a chance for A. Dahlland to score after 69 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. After 83 minutes, the defensive line of FCTREB created a counterattack through the middle that gave R. Severin a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. trnovanská enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.

trnovanská's top performer was clearly K. Hebda. R. Schwartz was a disappointment, however. P. Noël performed admirably for FCTREB. T. Barmbek turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
