previous 9/10 next 1/10  España 0 - 7 ISOLA (378954083)

2301 punters turned up at Nou Camp, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Szabolcs Czunyi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Binyamin Hamam and Jan Harm van de Mortel. España tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. Starters: Hîldan - Ríos Gómez, Soland, Aquillon, Chalal - Cojocaru, Spirov, Török, Florean, Galatis - Cerra.

ISOLA started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Casaluci - Krüger Nielsen, Merlo, Maris - Olejarz, Ellingsen, Cachola, Wille, Mulana - Miraç, Ragnhult.

J. Wille's lack of experience almost gave España a goal after 13 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. 0 - 1 was the score with 18 minutes played, after J. Wille cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for ISOLA. 20 minutes in, España appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. 25 minutes into the game, España seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. After 26 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for M. Ragnhult who increased ISOLA's lead to 0 - 2. ISOLA's J. Merlo left the field after 32 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was V. Bortoluzzi. 36 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 3 as E. Ellingsen finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Some fine movement on the left led to a ISOLA goal after 38 minutes, making it 0 - 4. R. Olejarz was noted down as the scorer. After this, you could see that the players of ISOLA were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 0 - 4 was the score after the first half. ISOLA enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 76 percent of possession.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of España was able to get his message across, and raised España's organisation to solid. R. Mulana left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. O. Ritamäki was the replacement. With 48 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed R. Olejarz of ISOLA to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 5. 49 minutes into the game, España seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to passable. ISOLA increased the lead to 0 - 6 as A. Krüger Nielsen scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. After 65 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as España found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by E. Ellingsen. At last, ISOLA's O. Ritamäki was able to backheel the ball in. 0 - 7. 83 minutes in, España's P. Ríos Gómez received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, M. Ragnhult would have put ISOLA up another goal 84 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. After 87 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as España found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. A. Krüger Nielsen was, after 89 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper A. Hîldan made the save. ISOLA claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 75 percent.

Most important España player was R. Cerra. On the other hand, A. Hîldan's play was disheartening. ISOLA's best player was J. Maris. V. Bortoluzzi was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 7.
