In came S. Pedersen. The rain made it hard for players like M. Buus to show their technical control of the ball on this soggy day. K. Mejer received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 33 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. I3F's H. Arreta had an excellent opportunity after 34 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! I. Gorostizu should probably have put his team up another goal after 37 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by J. Porto Ferro kept the visitors in the game. The score became 2 - 0 at 41 minutes into the game, when I3F were given a penalty which A. Cota blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! 2 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to I3F, who controlled the ball 68 percent of the time.

A. Bruheim, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. A great save by keeper J. Porto Ferro after 73 minutes kept the visitors in the game after H. Arreta struck from the left with a real cannonball. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of I3F to 3 - 0 as A. Cota finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. The players of I3F now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. The home side's B. Helimi came close to extending the lead 85 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but J. Porto Ferro managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. With the clock showing 87 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Weber resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by S. Tungstål in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. O. Ponce de León left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 89 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. P. Caspe was the replacement. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by I3F, with 67 percent of the ball.

I3F's top performer was clearly M. Gómez de Espinosa. A. Cota was a disappointment, however. A. Bruheim performed admirably for Weber. However, J. Porto Ferro made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.
