Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 1901 at Megalomania today. New Born tactics involved an interesting 5-3-2 combination. Lineup: Jamnický - Henckel, Hagen, Měkota, Lieberkind, Vaudagna - Onderčok, Sačurovský, Pimpolho - Jaunkamps, Husayn.

Eingeweide started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Djilas - Hundt, Bleichen, Reilhofer - Laurent, Vicente Soler, Elia, Rydzyk, Letipilia - Agramunt, Pollek.

2 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for New Born was N. Sačurovský. After 15 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as New Born found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to solid. 20 minutes into the match D. Jaunkamps put New Born ahead 2 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. A lovely run by New Born's C. Pimpolho left his markers for dead and should have resulted in a goal, but the finish went just wide. New Born increased the lead as N. Sačurovský struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Eingeweide's S. Laurent got himself booked for a foul. A. Husayn was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so New Born's J. Voldstedlund had to come off the bench. New Born solidified their lead at the 32 minute mark, as J. Voldstedlund dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0. New Born managed to extend their lead to 5 - 0 when B. Onderčok cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. By now, the players in New Born felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. 5 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Eingeweide, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of New Born was able to get his message across, and raised New Born's organisation to excellent. The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed Eingeweide's coach gave J. Senning the opportunity the player had been hoping for. B. Bleichen reluctantly left the field. A. Agramunt had a couple of good opportunities to reply, but the home team's keeper J. Jamnický was simply unbeatable. Eingeweide's D. Djilas had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 58 minutes having been played. A. Parkscheibner was the replacement. New Born's J. Voldstedlund increased the lead to 6 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 62 minutes. Things were deteriorating for the away team as New Born scored another to make it 7 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for J. Voldstedlund after 79 minutes. At that, J. Voldstedlund was noted down for a hat trick! 80 minutes into the game, New Born had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to solid. The home side's K. Hagen came close to extending the lead 84 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but A. Parkscheibner managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Eingeweide needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 88 minutes A. Agramunt made way for K. Stegelkoppel. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Eingeweide, with 54 percent of the ball.

New Born's top performer was clearly J. Voldstedlund. C. Pimpolho on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Eingeweide player was without a doubt B. Rydzyk. A. Parkscheibner turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 7 - 0.
