Lipiä limped off the field and was replaced by J. Tūbelis. C. Eriksson was the new captain of Linden - handed the armband by the departing player. It was 0 - 0 at the break. S.C.BARREIROS enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.

B. Gonçalves Machado, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. The most controversial moment of the game was likely the penalty given after 66 minutes. S.C.BARREIROS's M. Giovine kept his concentration, despite the upset crowd, and calmly put the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 1. With 75 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Linden resulted in a counterattack that set P. Benoist free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. The referee showed S.C.BARREIROS's B. Gonçalves Machado the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 81 minutes into the game, S.C.BARREIROS had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to passable. S.C.BARREIROS came close to extending their lead as S. Pimentel delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 83 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. Linden's K. With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 84 minutes gave Linden a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and N. Most important Linden player was N. Tremolada. V. Feuermann on the other hand, had a terrible day. M. Giovine performed admirably for S.C.BARREIROS. On the other hand, P. Simões's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 1.
