The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 1034 had shown up at
Olimpic AUTOSPURGO Arena for the match.
Edmund Bodensee was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Hervé Rocher and
Vincenzo Ardistio.
AUTOSPURGO tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination.

Y. Borgeaud finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot.
AUTOSPURGO's
M. Krūmiņš-Kronbergs was shown a yellow card after 10 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
With 14 minutes having been played, AUTOSPURGO scored to make it 1 - 1. A dribble down the left wing, followed by a shot which took a wicked bounce off a defender resulted in the keeper having no chance. Everyone thought it'd been an own goal, but
M. Bonafaccia was marked down as the scorer.
Some great play up the middle by AUTOSPURGO led to a chance for
R. Marrocco to score after 26 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar.
AUTOSPURGO's
W. Mirow got himself booked for a foul.
Halftime score was 1 - 1.
Sambiase enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.
As the 46 minute mark approached, the Sambiase coach decided it was time for a substitution.
G. Malantrucco reluctantly made way for
P. Russo on the pitch.
As the clock reached 46 minutes, Sambiase decided to regroup.
P. Poleggi gave
G. Blexen a little pat on the back as they changed positions on the pitch.
46 minutes into the match, the Sambiase manager wanted to try a new tactic, and the players loyally obliged.
Sambiase's
U. Bamert gave the visitors a 1 - 2 lead after 54 minutes with a superb strike from the right.
G. Blexen of Sambiase seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 3 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by
A. Filosa.
The crowd groaned when
W. Mirow, having maneuvered his way down the right, fired the ball just wide and missed a great opportunity to reduce the deficit for AUTOSPURGO.
71 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 4 as
U. Bamert finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
By now, the players in Sambiase felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
P. Poleggi of Sambiase took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 73 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 1 - 5.
Sambiase claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.
Most important AUTOSPURGO player was
T. Schur.
F. Battista turned in a dismal performance, however.
Sambiase's best player was
A. Eusebi.
J. Jubert on the other hand, had a terrible day.
