2546 punters turned up at MU Arena, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Francisco Leão was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Dewey Peate and Klemens Litschi. Pérovice were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. Pérovice were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. Pérovice's J. Branco managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 13 minutes. 0 - 1. With 22 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed V. Miloš of Pérovice to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. Pérovice increased their lead after 28 minutes when K. Zygmański broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. Confident in their lead, Pérovice's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. After 32 minutes Pérovice tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, V. Štryncl's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Pérovice, with 51 percent of the ball.

V. Štryncl wanted to play on, but the Pérovice coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by B. Weiser. Some fine movement on the left led to a Pérovice goal after 70 minutes, making it 0 - 4. K. Zygmański was noted down as the scorer. The visitors nearly scored again after 73 minutes, but a superb save by M. Piszcz kept K. Zygmański's free kick out of the net. The home crowd was given a certain amount of consolation when K. Krzyszczyk scored after a brilliant midfield combination through the centre, reducing the lead to 1 - 4. Pérovice had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Most important LSSS player was H. Godinho Silva. G. Jugović turned in a dismal performance, however. Š. Mikéska performed admirably for Pérovice. However, V. Miloš made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 4.
