The wings were the focus of most of Broccoli's attacks today. Tatanka used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. Tatanka players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. 14 minutes into the game, M. Tynnilä almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. G. Družina of Broccoli received a yellow card after 32 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Broccoli had to make a substitution after 33 minutes. G. Družina limped off the field and was replaced by M. Voljčanjšek. The guests took the lead 34 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in M. Tynnilä scoring to make it 0 - 1. The home crowd cheered when, after 35 minutes, S. Rodríguez's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. D. Kuvek was called on to replace Broccoli's A. Turek after 36 minutes following a nasty collision. The home crowd was not impressed when J. Rerrer came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 37 minutes. Tatanka were now up 0 - 2. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Tatanka, with 75 percent of the ball.

D. Beckell wanted to play on, but the Tatanka coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 50 minutes into the game by N. Rusev. With 60 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed M. Tynnilä of Tatanka to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3. The coach of Tatanka was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 64 minutes, V. Mladenov came on for G. Popov. It was obvious that team Tatanka had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. M. Holzwarth received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 76 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Tatanka fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 78 minutes, Tatanka's V. Mladenov burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 5. The players of Tatanka now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. The Tatanka players could smell victory in the air. M. Holzwarth wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for G. Trucillo after 79 minutes. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Tatanka, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. The visitors' G. Trucillo took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 83 minutes into the match. 0 - 6 for Tatanka. Tatanka enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 77 percent of possession.

The most dominating Broccoli player was without a doubt A. Lovec. J. Pezder turned in a dismal performance, however. Tatanka's top performer was clearly P. Grelaud. N. Rusev was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 6.
