Due to an all-day shower, 1118 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Kalkku Wembli. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! M. Armaroli slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today. A great save by keeper J. Oinasmäki after 23 minutes kept the visitors in the game after S. Feldbech struck from the left with a real cannonball. After 38 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and S. Dobrinović gave the Kalkku supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0. The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but G. Farías showed great heart and had a good game. There was concern in the stands when, at the 77 minute mark, Kalkku's M. Gomes hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. Kalkku solidified their lead at the 78 minute mark, as G. Farías dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0. The cannonball from 35 metres by G. Farías of Kalkku was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Kalkku scored another to make it 5 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for G. Farías after 81 minutes. This third goal completed a hattrick for G. Farías. By now, the players in Kalkku felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
