Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 565 to Psycho Arena. Jesús Soler was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Werner Richner and Luís Fernando Cajado. FC Psy tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Lespine - Tarradell, Geddes, Laville - Rising, Ribeiro, Galaris, Francetić, Stefaničius - Eichwalde, Augusto.

Desperados started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Petit - Iacobescu, Rəhmanov, Russett - Thun, Reinfeld, Davidson, Ewald, Glindemann - Stalpert, Campos.

FC Psy took a creative approach on the field. After 12 minutes, FC Psy raised their score by one when D. Stefaničius's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by D. Augusto. 1 - 0. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. S. Galaris squirmed through their central defence after 13 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0. With 20 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Desperados showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 2 - 1 when J. Ewald got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. Desperados levelled the score after 23 minutes to make it 2 - 2, as S. Glindemann struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked. Many thought M. Rising ought to have been awarded a penalty 39 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around V. Petit after a determined run through the middle. 2 - 2 was the score after the first half. FC Psy claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

S. Galaris received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 80 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. The home side put themselves ahead 3 - 2 after 85 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from D. Stefaničius, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. With 87 minutes played, Desperados's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to S. Glindemann he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 3 - 3. Desperados had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 88 minutes in when A. Stalpert came up alone against A. Lespine who managed a block. After a fine move down the middle V. Tarradell nearly gave the home side a goal after 89 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. Making his way up the middle 89 minutes into the match, A. Eichwalde almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert V. Petit blocked it to keep the score level. FC Psy enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

A. Eichwalde performed admirably for FC Psy. However, V. Tarradell made a disastrous appearance. Desperados's top performer was clearly A. Stalpert. I. Reinfeld was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 3.
