Due to an all-day shower, 2519 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Sulacap Arena. Lagerdahl was shown a yellow card after 27 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Sulacap could have put themselves ahead after 32 minutes but H. Francke missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. 35 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Sulacap was A. Agapito. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Sulacap's M. Cedro increasing the lead to 2 - 0. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Sulacap to 3 - 0 as A. Augustinho finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. After this, you could see that the players of Sulacap were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Halbgötter's Á. Fleitas got himself booked for a foul. Sulacap's J. Kordulski had to leave the pitch and there were no more available substitutions! With the goal left unguarded, A. Souza Reis had to leave his normal position and pick up the gloves. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, A. Augustinho took over the role of being the Sulacap captain. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Sulacap enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 71 percent of possession.

G. Spanden was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. H. Francke could have put Sulacap up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 55 minutes. B. Temming was called on to replace Halbgötter's P. Scharnhorst after 61 minutes following a nasty collision. Coming from the right, M. Cedro almost managed to score another goal for Sulacap, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. Thighs bulging, C. Agulló charged past the weaker players, seemingly oblivious to the rain. With 82 minutes of the game having been played, H. Francke received a blow to the hip in a collision and was unable to continue. Sulacap, with no available replacements, now faced the prospect of finishing the game with a reduced number of players. With 88 minutes played, A. Agapito could have brought this one home for Sulacap as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Possession in this half belonged to Sulacap, who controlled the ball 68 percent of the time.

The most dominating Sulacap player was without a doubt A. Augustinho. A. Souza Reis on the other hand, had a terrible day. Halbgötter's best player was C. Agulló. M. Kügle turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 0.
