Christensen could have increased the lead after 16 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. O. Christensen of Fradi was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Fradi had to make a substitution after 30 minutes. F. Ameixeiras limped off the field and was replaced by J. Schedl. Fradi put in a good effort on the right, but O. Christensen saw his volley fly wide of the mark 31 minutes into the game. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Fradi to 2 - 0 as J. Schedl finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Fradi managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when P. Tempini cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. 40 minutes into the game, M. Bietry had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came F. Falkenau. Halftime score was 3 - 0. Fradi claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 82 percent.

Still ahead in the game after 46 minutes, Fradi made some tactical adjustments. J. Schedl and R. Ballantyne swapped positions. Fradi were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. After 49 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and L. Riegler gave the Fradi supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0. Fradi increased the lead as F. Falkenau struck to make the score 5 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Confident in their lead, Fradi's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The score became 6 - 0 at 74 minutes into the game, when Fradi were given a penalty which C. Bârsan blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! After 74 minutes, B. Kustra put Fradi ahead 7 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. With 75 minutes played, M. Ampach of SleepySun fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. At the 78 minute mark, it looked like the opportunity for SleepySun to score had been missed until M. Blancard suddenly worked his way clear and fired off a spectacular shot. The keeper had no chance! 7 - 1. Cheers filled the stadium as F. Falkenau broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 8 - 1 to Fradi. F. Flüeler of SleepySun received a yellow card after 82 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Possession in this half belonged to Fradi, who controlled the ball 84 percent of the time.

The most dominating Fradi player was without a doubt J. Schedl. However, M. Milkowski made a disastrous appearance. W. Muca performed admirably for SleepySun. On the other hand, G. Reinertsen's play was disheartening. The match ends 8 - 1.
