A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Pinatubas. Starters: Liansbergis - Kardušas, Mochovas, Kiršinas - Schlosser, Mendoza, Carlino, Marc, Marques - Stoute, Örjansson.

R. Volder's lack of experience almost gave Pinatubas a goal after 20 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. 24 minutes into the game, KELDAN's J. Petri fired home from an incredible distance! We'll be seeing that on Xmas goal compilation DVDs for years to come! 1 - 0. Pinatubas's right side looked dangerous 33 minutes in, but M. Bergauer made a good save on D. Marc's hard shot to the top corner. After 35 minutes, KELDAN sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached S. Holmgren, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 2 - 0. A. Mochovas had a lethal looking free kick that grazed the post after 37 minutes. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. N. Bentsen squirmed through their central defence after 40 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Pinatubas had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

Content with how the game was proceeding, the KELDAN coach let L. Vesterskov replace K. Mikkelsen after 46 minutes. M. Bergauer wanted to play on, but the KELDAN coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by I. Ardeleanu. The KELDAN captaincy was handed to I. Ardeleanu. 62 minutes into the match, the visitors reduced the lead to 3 - 1 as a free kick by A. Mochovas slunk past the home side's goalkeeper. The referee showed Pinatubas's M. Örjansson the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. I. Ardeleanu's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for KELDAN, he bravely continued in the match. The crowd roared its approval when I. Ardeleanu somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Pinatubas's M. Örjansson 79 minutes into the game. U. Schlosser had a couple of good opportunities to reply, but the home team's keeper I. Ardeleanu was simply unbeatable. A great save by keeper F. Liansbergis after 85 minutes kept the visitors in the game after L. Vesterskov struck from the left with a real cannonball. 87 minutes in, an amazing pass from the left side resulted in a goal for the visitors, as R. Stoute anticipated the through ball and scored, reducing the deficit to 3 - 2. Pinatubas enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

Most important KELDAN player was G. Hegelund. R. Volder on the other hand, had a terrible day. Pinatubas's best player was D. Marc. On the other hand, R. Stoute's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 2.
