Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 2866 at FK Joga Bonyto today. Leo Adriaenssens was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Luis Eduardo Dueñas and Ewout Hanemaayer. Bonyto had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation. The following players took the field: Mažurevskis - Dukynas, Terho - Stancarone, Trakumas, Vidzikauskas, Butinas, Mahya - Radziševskis, Surijonas, Panciriovas.

At 7 minutes played, D. Butinas came in from the right with the intention of giving Bonyto the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. Blackliver's J. Estrada left the field after 34 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was E. Boucai. After 42 minutes, Blackliver raised their score by one when F. Hellmonds's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by E. Boucai. 0 - 1. With 43 minutes played, after a good run down the left, K. Radziševskis went down looking for a penalty after a challenge from the visitors' right fullback, but the referee waved play on, and later warned him for diving. 44 minutes in, Blackliver's A. Kaunismäki received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Bonyto, who controlled the ball 64 percent of the time.

With 47 minutes played, K. Vidzikauskas of Bonyto fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 51 minutes, Blackliver tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. E. Mahya's speed was almost enough to give Bonyto a goal after 67 minutes, but his nice pass to S. Surijonas was not taken care of properly. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Bonyto, with 64 percent of the ball.

L. Panciriovas performed admirably for Bonyto. O. Terho was a disappointment, however. Blackliver's top performer was clearly B. Schnedler. J. Deloach on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 1.
