Exiles93 1 - 6 Klockow (379288451)

The 1261 fans in attendance at SoOn93 Arena were roasting in the hot sun. Mark Jones was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Björn Ljungling and Annunziato Rinaudo. Exiles93 decided to use a 5-4-1 set up. Lineup: Mohd Safee - Aqil, Zahin, Abbas, Wen Feng, Mohd Sharbinee - Osterman, Ibrahim, Hashim, Mohd Irzani - Abd Rahim Jamaluddin.

Klockow tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Risser - Medeot, Vrintz, Kiffe - Stepanović, Ribeiro, Kavander, Betsch, Kellenter - Gutiérrez, Klinger.

The Klockow free kick 21 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of L. Gutiérrez, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 0 - 1! Exiles93's M. Mohd Irzani put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 1 - 1 with 22 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. 29 minutes into the game, Exiles93 seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. 1 - 2 was the score with 39 minutes played, after H. Klinger cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Klockow. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. Klockow had most of the ball, with 72 percent of possession.

The Exiles93 players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a solid organisation when the game started again. Some fine movement on the left led to a Klockow goal after 49 minutes, making it 1 - 3. B. Stepanović was noted down as the scorer. Usually a powerful player on the field, T. Kellenter looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun. After 64 minutes, Klockow sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached H. Klinger, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 4. 67 minutes into the game, Exiles93 had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. After 76 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for M. Kiffe who increased Klockow's lead to 1 - 5. The home crowd cheered when, after 77 minutes, L. Gutiérrez's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. 82 minutes in, Klockow's H. Klinger received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. T. Betsch of Klockow took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 83 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 1 - 6. Klockow claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 73 percent.

Most important Exiles93 player was M. Abd Rahim Jamaluddin. R. Hashim on the other hand, had a terrible day. Klockow's top performer was clearly H. Klinger. H. Risser was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 6.
