Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 739 to HTG_Arena. Pedro Imbroda was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Paul Karner and Stephen MacLeister. HTG_Likert had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation. Lineup: Gérardy - Bona, Solem - D'Occhio, Persson, Manetti, Kesaris, Czár - Casterman, Sicre, Vandenhouwe.

Visclubje's M. Bodiroga got himself booked for a foul. Visclubje took the lead 16 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. W. van der Kleij was the scorer. With 17 minutes played, S. Peeters nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. With 26 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed W. van der Kleij of Visclubje to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. A drive down the left side allowed W. van der Kleij to get in close and score another goal for Visclubje after 33 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 3. At that, W. van der Kleij was noted down for a hat trick! 0 - 3 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Visclubje, with 62 percent of the ball.

HTG_Likert needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes W. Gérardy made way for G. François. Given a free kick close to the byline, Visclubje tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let A. Donişa slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 4, 80 minutes into the game. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Visclubje lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. After 81 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed G. Pia to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 5. HTG_Likert's P. Persson was shown a yellow card after 85 minutes for slicing down an opponent. W. van der Kleij increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 6. W. van der Kleij of Visclubje took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 87 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 7. The home crowd cheered when, after 87 minutes, O. Prüfer's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. Visclubje enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 69 percent of possession.

Most important HTG_Likert player was T. Bona. However, D. Kesaris made a disastrous appearance. Visclubje's top performer was clearly H. Billerbeck. E. Jęsiek was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 7.
