Rojinegros 1 - 6 Sporting (379341692)

It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 1063 that came out to †HoLlE†inFeRnO. Pedro Alventosa was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kim Kiener and Winfried Scheriau. Rojinegros tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Olarte - Soncco, Robles, Maldonado, Degloire - Ballado, Huaita, Tarsi, Chaca - Endrizzi, Ugaz.

Sporting started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: van Damme - Peñaranda, Mouris, Cabanellas - Dzierson, Suyo, Peruch, Eybl, Velásquez - Canchari, 云贵 (Yungui).

Rojinegros used their skill at pressing to cut off the attack angles of their opponents all over the field. Sporting mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. With 6 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. S. Eybl put the ball away for 0 - 1. The home crowd cheered when, after 18 minutes, 王. 云贵 (Yungui)'s charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. F. Maldonado's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Sporting, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. R. Mouris received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 23 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The Sporting fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. F. Suyo of Sporting took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 33 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3. By now, the players in Sporting felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. After 36 minutes of game time, 王. 云贵 (Yungui) had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but O. Olarte was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. With 38 minutes played, J. Ballado of Rojinegros fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Rojinegros's G. Chaca somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for J. Ugaz, who struck for 1 - 3. Against a lesser team, Sporting could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 40 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. Sporting's M. Canchari left the field after 41 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was J. Pino. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to Sporting, who controlled the ball 77 percent of the time.

As usual, F. Suyo tried to use his strength and hard work for the benefit of the team, but the heat hit him hard and he couldn't keep pace at all. A drive down the left side allowed 王. 云贵 (Yungui) to get in close and score another goal for Sporting after 54 minutes, taking the score to 1 - 4. Sporting's F. Suyo was shown a yellow card after 57 minutes for slicing down an opponent. With 66 minutes played, the excellent ball from the wing by Sporting's H. Velásquez reached 王. 云贵 (Yungui)'s head, and he is not one to miss such an opportunity - 1 - 5. The Sporting players could smell victory in the air. S. Dzierson wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Á. Guillén after 70 minutes. The coach of Sporting was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 75 minutes, A. Urroz came on for R. Mouris. After 76 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for A. Urroz who increased Sporting's lead to 1 - 6. Sporting enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 79 percent of possession.

J. Ballado performed admirably for Rojinegros. F. Soncco turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Sporting player was R. van Damme. J. Pino was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 6.
