Coyhaique 1 - 6 Slackers (379350521)

1908 spectators arrived at Cementerio de Elefantes, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Slackers tried to focus their attacks down the middle. 5 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Coyhaique to take the lead after a good cross from the right found J. Triana alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. With 22 minutes played, S. Jenkins of Slackers fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. E. Tuvsjö of Coyhaique seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by D. Sambay. After 36 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after A. Hancox made it through the middle and struck home to make it 1 - 1. 1 - 2 was the score with 40 minutes played, after A. Hancox cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Slackers. Coyhaique's D. Sambay got himself booked for a foul. After 43 minutes, Slackers's A. Hancox burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 3. That made three goals for A. Hancox and he was marked down for the hat trick. The players of Slackers now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 1 - 3 was the halftime score. Slackers claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

With 46 minutes played, the Coyhaique coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. V. Ihanamäki came on, M. Macadon had to leave the fray. E. Triviño of Coyhaique received a yellow card after 57 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. After 71 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for 方. 坤轩 (Kunxuan) who increased Slackers's lead to 1 - 4. J. Regis received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 80 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 5. The Slackers fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The Slackers free kick 81 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of S. Jenkins, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 1 - 6! Slackers players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. 84 minutes into the match, D. Dandy came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Slackers had most of the ball, with 66 percent of possession.

Most important Coyhaique player was E. Tuvsjö. J. Triana on the other hand, had a terrible day. Slackers's top performer was clearly A. Hancox. D. Delaney turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 6.
