Some things can only be learned through experience, and J. Tiefenbach should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting Dyrnwyn a goal with 65 minutes of the match played. With 66 minutes played, H. Mes of Dyrnwyn fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. After 70 minutes, the Gonfie coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving L. Reekers off the field. T. Noferi took his place. Unsportsmanlike behaviour by H. Mes rendered him his second booking of the match, and Dyrnwyn had to finish the game with a reduced squad. After 71 minutes of play, A. Kropornicki gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. Dyrnwyn's S. Morriën got himself booked for a foul. W. Maytinee couldn't finish the match after being injured, leaving Gonfie a man down. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, S. Cunha got himself booked. The manager of Dyrnwyn was not happy. Gonfie enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

The most dominating Gonfie player was without a doubt A. van Mastrigt. However, P. Bańkowski made a disastrous appearance. E. Zeytuni performed admirably for Dyrnwyn. M. Fanello on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 0.
